We are still holding services, please be in prayer.  A friend posted this on social media and we would like those who come to this site to also know what is going on.

On January 29, 2024, a fire occurred at the beloved historical church, Etiwanda Community Church. Thankfully, the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District responded quickly and worked diligently to prevent the fire from spreading throughout the adjacent areas. However, the church building and basement has fire and water damage.

Etiwanda Community Church (ECC) is a classic white New England style building built in 1902. The church was the first church in the greater Etiwanda Area and has faithfully served the community since the very beginning. ECC is rich in history, but more importantly has served the spiritual needs of the community with excellence for many years. The church’s service to local families; various ministries, including Operation Christmas Child; and overall support throughout the community is invaluable.

Since the fire, Etiwanda Community Church’s Senior Pastor Shawn Allen and First Lady Tanya Allen have been working tirelessly with the church’s insurance company and fire officials to expedite cleanup and restoration efforts. As you can imagine, restoring a historical building presents numerous unique and costly challenges. ECC has recently learned that many of these restoration challenges will not be fully covered by insurance, leaving a significant loss of funds.

The community wishes to assist Etiwanda Community Church in restoring the building and continue to serve the community, which has been a gathering place for many over the years. We ask that you prayerfully consider a tax-deductible donation to the church. Your donation will make a significant impact on the restoration of the church building due to the fire and water damage.

There are a number of ways to securely donate—You may visit the church’s website etiwandachurch.com (click on the “Donate” in the upper right corner); use Zelle via the church’s email address etiwandachurch@yahoo.com; use Venmo; or mail a check to the church’s Post Office Box 37, Rancho Cucamonga CA 91739. When making your donation, please indicate a memo or note that reads “Fire Fund.”

Thank you in advance for your generosity; together we’ll keep the bell ringing before each Sunday church service for years to come.
